| Educated in
Singapore at the prestigious Anglo Chinese School (ACS)
and was the best all round student of ACS in 1969 and a
holder of the 'pingat jasa' OBA (gold medal). Studied law
at the University of Singapore on a Singapore government
merit scholarship.
After being called to the Singapore bar in 1975, was
enlisted into the army. Commissioned as an officer in 1976
and served as a 'special investigation branch officer'
(SIB) in the army.
With a reputation in
litigation, both in civil and criminal, handled many high
profile cases over the years and regularly consulted by
lawyers for expertise in litigation. Briefed as leading
counsel by several law firms. |
